Cobralight Verticolo

Pure presence

Cobralight Verticolo consistently translates the Cobralight principle into a vertical, architecturally conceived lighting solution. Formally, it appears as an upright, linear light structure. As with the Pendolo, the design is reduced to the essentials – not as a horizontal line, but as a vertically stretched light form in the room or on the wall. It appears as a fine, flexible trace of light that elegantly extends upwards – precise in its construction and simultaneously possessing an almost organic feel reminiscent of an upright cobra. Here, too, the concept is based on the typical Cobralight structure: flexible support elements made of strip steel, onto which two LED strips are attached using small connectors – entirely without glue or screws. This construction enables an extremely slim, robust, and flexible design and clearly expresses the idea of a radical reduction of material and complexity. In contrast to the pendant lamp, the Verticolo has a stronger architectural and spatial-structuring effect. It emphasizes verticality, sets targeted accents, and functions simultaneously as a light source and a graphic element. Depending on its orientation, it produces direct, indirect, or accentuating light. The two LED strips can be controlled independently via sensor dimmers in the base of the luminaire. Like all Cobralight models, the Verticolo follows a consistently sustainable approach: minimal material usage, a modular design for easy repair, separable components for single-stream recycling, and a compact construction that allows for space-saving packaging. The Cobralight Verticolo is therefore less a classic luminaire and more a vertical light pattern in the room – technically precise, aesthetically minimalist, and yet possessing a sculptural presence. Ideal for modern architecture, where light structures spaces rather than merely decorating them.
